Managers, it has come to my attention that there are some Managers that believe that the FHC Board of Directors, or at least part of, has the ability to control the online voting that we do periodically each year. That could not be farther from the truth. I have a great relationship with you all, so let me start by saying we have one of the best, if not the best Webmasters in the entire country. Our webmaster is Tres Fenton, and he lives in the Tampa Bay area. We started this great relationship right after I was elected for the first time as Chairman some 7 years ago. He has over 25 years of experience, and I have complete trust in him and his expertise.
Here is how the voting happens:
I send him the voting instructions, and he sets up the program on our website. That is it! Period!!!
No one has the ability to change votes, change the topics, or anything related to FHC.
All a Manager has to do is log in and vote. Without your password, which you can get from our Secretary, you cannot vote.
The Board feels that we would be trending backward by voting at the Sites. This is the purest form of democratic voting, which allows a person to vote the way they feel and not be coerced into voting at a Site. As most of you know, I was a US Government and Politics teacher for 40 or so years. I strongly believe in the Manager's right to vote, so please vote anytime you have an opportunity, whether it be here at FHC or any other opportunity that comes your way. There is another phrase that I believe in: Do not ever gripe if you do not vote!
If you have a need for a great person in the technology field let me recommend my friend and peer:
